Who Are Volunteer Firefighters?

Volunteers are people just like you! 

Men and women of all ages, from all walks of life. They give something to their community that money can't buy! Their time and talent, their care and concern! If you are 18 years old and have a strong desire to help people in the community, this is your opportunity! ... for Volunteer Application

Requirements and Expectations

  • High School Diploma GED or equivalent

  • Valid Wa State Drivers License

  • 18 years of age

  • Good Driving Record

  • Good Physical Condition

  • Series of Entrance Tests

  • Significant amount of on-going training

  • Successfully pass a physical agility and written exam.

  • Attend Firefighter Training Academy Class (Every Saturday up to 8 hrs and 4hrs one evening a week for 12 weeks)

  • Attend EMT Certification Class (Every Saturday up to 8 hrs and 4hrs  one evening a week for 10 weeks)

  • Desire to Serve your Community

  • Team Player and Can-do Attitude

  • Time to Commit
